Idaho Highway Wildlife Linkage
Idaho Highway Wildlife Linkage

Welcome to the Idaho Highway Wildlife Linkage Wiki. This site is maintained for access and review of wildlife linkage areas along state and federal highways identified by staff at the Idaho Transportation Department, Idaho Fish and Game Department, and partner organizations in a series of workshops between 2004 and 2008. There is a comment button on each linkage area page, we encourage review comments and additional information to keep this project up to date. Because comments will be listed as anonymous, we encourage you to identify yourself in your comment with your name and position, so that readers can follow up if required.

How to use this site

The maps and data on this page are maintained in wiki software, which is a collaborative web site, allowing you to make comments that are visible to others (Just click the comment button at the top of each detailed linkage page). If you already know the linkage area that you wish to view, or the approximate mile marker of the linkage, locate it on the detailed pages list under each District. If you are not sure which linkage to look at, refer to the map tile index maps available as Adobe PDF files in the District links above, or on the Google Maps link. You can also download the linkage areas as GIS files for offline reference.
