Welcome to the Idaho Highway Wildlife Linkage Wiki, a collaborative web site allowing you access and review of wildlife linkage areas along state and federal highways identified by staff of the Idaho Transportation Department, Idaho Fish and Game Department, and partner organizations in a series of workshops between 2004 and 2008.

This site is organized by the Idaho Transportation Department's six districts (see map below). Each district has a separate page, except district 6, which has two. On each of these pages are the wildlife linkages that were identified during the collaborative workshops. The links to each district's page are below.

How to use this site

The maps and data on this page are maintained in wiki software, which is a collaborative web site, allowing you to make comments that are visible to others (Just click the comment button at the top of each detailed linkage page). To find an area of interest along a state or federal roadway, refer to the District Google Maps below, or through the maps available within the individual District pages . You can also download the linkage areas as GIS files for offline reference (in "Linkage Maps Help and Documentation" section).
