Session in Winchester from 6:00pm - 7:00pm on Thursday.
Designers and implementors of MMOGs (Massively Multiplayer Online Games) must face a host of interesting questions. These include the traditional challenges created by the need to operate reliably at scale, the desire to permit simultaneous interactions between thousands of characters, and the need to provide a compelling game experience for users. This session will explore some specific approaches to these (and other) challenges involved in designing, implementing, and deploying MMOGs.
