Socialtext Customer Exchange : Export of photos in "save as word" and "save as pdf"

I'm editing a document in which I uploaded some photos.

When I do a "save as" in the menu and create a Word or PDF document from it, those photos are not included.

I'm going to try again using an external URL for the images (a technique which worked fine yesterday).

pps. a second attempt worked, but the photo is not sized properly in the resulting pdf; see attached pdf.

Hi Ed,

I believe the export versions are created based on the html text of the page and do not currently include the attachments. I've asked our product management team to comment on whether or not this is a feature we will include in the future or if there are any workarounds.

Hi, John and Ed,

When I use the workspace "tools" menu to "Export to Word" or "Export to PDF", the images appear in the exported file. Is that Export feature not working for you? Or are you attempting to use the browser's command. If so, please try Tools/Export.

Yes, Adina, I'm using "Tools/Export". The exact URL is

When I just now went to do this, I got this error message:

So, at the minimum, there is some kind of error condition that is not being handled right.
