ELECTRODE DESIGN ENGINEER

Job Responsibilities

The electrode design engineer will be responsible for the design and
transfer of Medical Disposable Devices with an emphasis on EEG
Electrode systems and its cable connections.

He/she will provide engineering support of the existing product line of BIS Sensors through our continuous improvement program.

This person will analyze, develop and recommend design approaches necessary
to meet customer requirements for new or improved products and/or
processes.

Competency Description

Individual contributor with the opportunity to lead cross-functional projects.

Write requirement and specification documents, as well as product development plans.

Implement tactical plans in order to ensure projects meet time to market and budget constraints.

Education/Equivalent Training Required

Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a preference to Biomedical, Chemical, or Mechanical.

Experience (State Type and Number of Years)

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Electrode / Disposables design.

Unique/Additional Requirements

EEG / ECG Electrode Designexperience a Plus.

Familiarity with Design Controls and Safety Standards in the medical industry; and medical grade materials.

Familiarity with statistical tools for data analysis and sample size determinations.

Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

Its design improves the electrodes functional ability to attain higher quality electrical impulses. I believe i would be able to contribute a vast amount of knowledge of how increase the quality and efficiency of your product.
