Field Clinical Engineer (Mid Atlantic Area)
Responsibilities:
- Provide tech support to end users on NeuroPace products.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting on NeuroPace products
- Facilitate the conduct of clinical trials by working with clinical investigators and NeuroPace clinical and regulatory personnel in a professional and ethical manner.
- Insure patient safety to the maximum extent possible by adhering to all applicable regulations, standards and requirements.
- Perform on-site training for physicians and allied health personnel.
- Present at investigator meetings and other conferences.
- Perform detailed reporting of product problems.
- Provide detailed feedback for product improvement for existing products.
- Provide input into the product development process for future products.
- Support in-house personnel (engineering, clinical, manufacturing, legal, etc.) as requested to achieve company goals.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
- Be available via pager or cell phone at all times (nights and weekends included) except when on vacation or at other times when alternate coverage has been arranged.
Requirements:
- BS degree or higher in technical, scientific or health field with a minimum of 4 + years previous experience in a field position.
- Ability to clearly present technical material.
- Advanced user of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the ability to quickly learn new applications.
- Requires excellent writing skills.
- Must be able to clearly and concisely communicate with patients, physicians and nurses as well as individuals at all levels within the company.
- Physical requirements. * Ability to maneuver in the operating room environment during sterile surgical procedures. * Ability to lift 30 lbs
- Able to travel 20%-50% of the time (dependent on geographic coverage area).
