Company Background
Posit Science Corporation is focused on using patented technology to
create a line of playable software tools/games to arrest and reverse
the cognitive decline associated with aging, which can lead to Mild
Cognitive Impairment, Alzheimer’s and senile dementia. The functional
design of the software is based on proprietary research conducted by
Posit co-founder (and UCSF professor), Dr. Michael Merzenich. That
research earlier led to the creation of a successful public company,
Scientific Learning Corporation, which addresses similar problems as
they apply to child populations.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Understand Posit Science’s programs and offerings and effectively communicate and apply them to each prospect’s needs
- Effectively qualify clients to assess their needs
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain daily activity and prospect information into Salesforce database, including comprehensive and up-to-date client information
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales quotas
- Work closely with sales and marketing team members to achieve organizational goals
- Provide continual input to the sales and marketing organizations in order to refine positioning and adapt to new market opportunities
Key Skills and Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of lead inside sales experience
- Excellent organizational skills, with great attention to detail and impeccable follow-through
- Strong listening, interpersonal, and written/oral communication skills
- Outstanding judgment & maturity
- Proven ability to build rapport & trust with consumers
- Healthy desire to take the initiative
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office products
- Proven track record of achieving established sales quotas or targets
- Sales background through professional training, work experience, or additional degrees
- Strong team player that can work independently to meet individual goals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., business, psychology, etc.) strongly preferred
