David Sidman is the founder and CEO of Content Directions Inc. (CDI), the first commercial Registration Agency for the Digital Object Identifier (DOI). Prior to founding Content Directions in August 2000, David was Director of New Publishing Technologies for John Wiley & Sons, Inc., where he was responsible for helping Wiley transition to the world of electronic publishing through a combination of new product strategies, internal infrastructure projects, and external acquisitions and investments. Prior to Wiley, he was Director of Strategic Technologies for Moody’s Investors Service, IT Director for the International Capital Markets Division of Barclays Bank, and held various other positions involving technology, the Information Industry, Wall Street, and the Retail industry. He is a graduate of Harvard University.
