I am the co-founder of Pyra and was Director of Development of Blogger until February 2001. Pyra was purchased by Google in February 2003. I am now the co-founder and director of the Lafayette Project (working title while we come up with something better, also no website yet). The Lafayette Project will use the editorial selections and commentary of weblogs to provide a new type of personalized news service.
