Year to Year

eTech (O'Reilly) call for submissions occurs around September each year, and the conference is in March the following year.

2008

• PyCon 2008, The Python Community Conference, is in Chicago IL March 13-20 2008. PyCon has open calls for proposals for Tutorials and Presentations, and invites participation in free post-conference Sprints. Read the PyCon weblog for more details.
• IAOC EU/US Summit, Reykjavik on June 12/13. International Association of Online Communicators. Call for papers and still opportunities for a great panel debate on the use of social media for international collaboration.

2009

• SCALE 7x The 2009 Southern California Linux Expo, will be held at The Westin LAX Hotel in Los Angeles. A call for papers (CFP) is now open for tutorials and presentations. SCALE is a community / grass roots Linux and Open Source conference.
