Is Web 3.0 the equivalent of Web 2.0 for the enterprise? Possibly but more likely it is the maturation of many existing services to include features that are important for enterprise users. This is a topic I am interested in and that is why I have created this wiki. What started out as an exercise to list and categorize Web 2.0 in the enterprise topics expanded into all things Web 2.0 for the simple reason that crossover is inevitable. I also hold a strong belief that the boundary between consumer and enterprise technology is blurring, therefore it would be illogical to exclude purely consumer oriented services and products.
Please add additional companies or projects and update any of the pages with additional information or corrections. Also, I have done my best to categorize the companies, but if you believe that I have incorrectly categorized, then please edit, or simply add the page to another category.
Enterprise 2.0 General Acceptance
Enterprise 2.0 as a term and as a real concept is getting pretty general acceptance at this point.
