I actually use MeatballWiki / MetaWiki as part of my social network analysis tool. If you're name is on there, I probably know you or know someone who knows you. My orkut profile, conversely, is mostly noise. Wikis aren't really anything except empty space, so it's not difficult to construct a social networking tool on one. We had a brief discussion about this on the Wiki community on Orkut many moons ago. -- SunirShah
