Unconference Room

CR-2_SeminarRoom_all.pdf
One room at MaRS in the centre of the action, dedicated for folks to use as they will. Set up demos there, blog there, hang out there, strike up a conversation there, arrange a meetup there about a specific topic there. It's yours - well, all of ours. We will keep the coffee hot and coming - you use it in a way that works for you. Use this wiki to schedule. What do you think of that? Like it? Hate it? We're trying - tell us. The room will probably be Room CR-2 (see link to layout and facilities above).
Unconference Room Schedule
- Identity 2.0: BorisMann will be sharing some of the information from the Internet Identity Workshop in San Francisco that he attended
- DabbleDB Demo: BorisMann will coordinate with the guys from DabbleDB to show a remote video broadcast and demo of their application -- some have called it the Web 2.0 version of Excel, or perhaps an online version of MS Access on steroids.
- AJAX, AJAX, AJAX. AlexeiWhite of eBusiness Applications and AJAXInfo will be leading a discussion on rich UIs built using AJAX techniques, brainstorm usability benefits / pitfalls, design patterns and the implications of office and business applications moving the internet. Come prepared to discuss your favorite online applications and rich UIs. Other cool things Alexei may be showing an AJAX spreadsheet and/or AJAX and Flex working together in one UI. This discussion is probably more for end users and project managers than developers.
