Coworking space

hide
Unfortunately we've grown into this space and it is no longer available for coworking drop-ins. To find another coworking space check this coworking wiki. We were happy to host this space for over a year and hope to do so in the future.

Socialtext is hosting a coworking space in its newly expanded office in Palo Alto. Coworking is a movement across many cities and countries to share office space in a creative, collaborative, cafe-like atmosphere.

There's more information on the coworking blog, and the main coworking wiki. And a short video that explains the concepts behind coworking!

Our office construction is mostly completed, we have furniture, and things look a bit more civilized! Email liz@ socialtext.com or ping me in #socialtext on freenode -- or just drop by if you're in the area.

Current policy/hours

  • Mostly drop-in, at the moment
  • Donate in tip jar, suggested $10
  • Open weekdays, around 9-5
  • If no one is at 695, ask next door in 655 to be let in
  • Make sure the door is locked if you're the last to leave
  • Donations will be used for tea/coffee/food/supplies

The office is at 695 High St, next to 655 High St. in Palo Alto.
It's at the corner of High and Forest, so we're nicknaming it "High Forest".
