Welcome to the Wikithon pages! The Wikithon is a wiki hackathon. It happens on the first Wednesday of every month, all day from 9:30am into the evening, in conjunction with a party to celebrate Wiki Wednesday.
Anyone developing wiki software or working on wikis is welcome to come by and work on their project in our office for the Wikithon.
This vision of the Wikithon includes wiki administrators and editors. If you'd like to come have a meetup with a few people on your team in order to improve your wiki, we'd love to host you. There is room at the wikithon for theoretical discussions as well.
We'd also like to host the Wikithon in the spirit of WikiOhana and Wiki Everywhere, collaborating and building community across many different wikis and wiki platforms.
At the end of the day, everyone will have an opportunity to present their hack, and then we'll continue on for Wiki Wednesday, with a featured speaker on an interesting technical topic.
