Central has a tinge of Internet glory by association.
Grand Central envisions itself as an alternative to
substantial enterprise software and hardware costs.
The Web services company offers business collaboration
and productivity software via the Internet,
enabling a platform for business partners, customers,
and diverse business units to work together. AT&T, its
most impressive customer to date, was announced in
March. Grand Central and AT&T are working together
to offer collaborative online business tools as part of
AT&T business services. This could bode well for the
company; its announced customers thus far have
been few and far between.
