RH100 TAKE Providing consumers access to thousands
of web sites is the bread and butter of an aggregation
service. In doing so, customers gain access to
specific information with fewer mouse clicks and
keystrokes. Yodlee provides its fifth generation platform
to customers for gathering and transforming
personal account data into financial applications. The
company claims that five million people view, access
and manage their personal accounts online via a
Yodlee aggregation service, used by global financial
institutions and leading Internet portals. Market
research firm Jupiter Research estimates the adoption
of online banking is rising at a rate of 14 percent
each year, and by 2008, 56 million households will
bank online, compared with an estimated 35.3
million in 2004. The outlook is promising with this
expected growth, and Yodlee’s established customer
base, which includes AOL, Bank of America, Charles
Schwab, Citibank, CUNA, Fidelity, ING, J.P. Morgan
Chase, Merrill Lynch, MSN, Yahoo, and Wachovia.
