Welcome to the Wiki for Leadership Development for Mobilizing Reproductive Health (LDM). This Wiki was developed by the LDM family and is open to anyone interested in sharing information and learning about leadership for international reproductive health. The main purpose of this space is to facilitate greater learning, action, and interaction among leaders in reproductive health. We encourage and look forward to your active participation.

The Community

The community page contains profiles of participants, their organizations and the LDM countries. Feel free to add your own profile and a profile for your organization.

Learning Together

Learning Together is a place for resources, ideas, a calendar events, and where we are currently collaboratively writing a report to document the lessons we are learning from implementing leadership programs for reproductive health in our focal countries. We are also creating a 500 word summary of the results of our OE grant from the Packard Foundation (see Packard OE Final Report 2008 Summary by July, 31 to help edit.

How To Participate

You can read the content of the Reproductive Health Leaders Network without creating an account, but if you would like to make changes to this wiki you will need to sign up for a Socialtext account. Editing This Wiki outlines the simple steps involved in setting up an individual account.

If you're new to Wikis, please read the Wiki Introduction after you have created an account for yourself.

The most important rule for participation is participate. If you have a question or an idea, share it. A great first step is to add your profile or your organization's profile to The Community page. If you're worried about breaking things (which you shouldn't be), you can play in The Sandbox first.

Wiki Sprint

Join us for our first Wiki Sprint February 24 and 25 2009! The Wiki Sprint is an opportunity to bring the community together in a concerted effort to add new content, share thoughts and ideas, ask questions and edit/re-organize. If you are new to using a wiki, this is the perfect opportunity to learn more about how to use the wiki, practice adding and editing this wiki, and have your questions answered in Our Global Cafe. Please see the Wiki Sprint page for details. We look forward to seeing you on the Sprint.

First, I'm new at SocialText so sorry if I'm inappropriately contaminating this page. I just want to say how incredible this page's navigation is and all the linked pages and workgroups that I've seen so far. I'm a Program Consultant with the Organizational Effectiveness Program of the Packard Foundation and I support grants for the Population and Reproductive Health Program, therefore, I'm very interested in your work. I'm not sure if I can set up a simple way to see updates to this page, but I'm sure I'll figure it out somehow - perhaps an RSS feed to my Bloglines account.

Cheers to you all!
