Game Developers Conference 2008

We're preparing for another great GDC this year. In addition to our usual activities (e.g., our booth, presentations, workshops, parties, etc.), we're doing something different this year to support the Game Developer blogging community. We're hosting our first PlayStation Blogger Lounge @ GDC.

It will be located at the W Hotel, across the street from the Moscone Center. All bloggers are invited, so if you're interested in joining us, please email us here with your name and blog URL and you'll be good to go. We're updating the RSVP List fairly regularly if you'd like to see who else is coming.

The PlayStation Blogger Lounge will be a casual place for bloggers, podcasters and the broader online developer community to hang out, relax and blog/post about the event. We will have an ultra high-speed wireless network in the lounge, couches, cables, tables, food, refreshments, and of course plenty of PlayStation games and demo stations.

In addition, we'll have several Sony PlayStation developers hanging out in the lounge and available to chat. We've created a mini-schedule in case folks are interested in knowing who will be in the Blogger Lounge at what times. This schedule will be changing, so you should subscribe to our GDC microblog (via twitter) to catch all the real-time updates and happenings from Sony at this year's conference.
