StartUp Kit -- wiki templates and best practices
The Start-up kit is a collection of wiki-based templates, examples and best practices that streamlines business operations management as well as builds better corporate governance for start-up and emerging growth companies that may eventually be acquired or need to raise institutional or VC funding. It can be thought of as a pre-populated corporate intranet. The Start-up Kit's content was created by Andy Stack, an entrepreneur who most recently managed his latest company's business operations from inception through to integration into Yahoo! Inc. after its acquisition.

Using Socialtext
Please feel free to add or modify pages -- even this one -- as you see fit. That's the idea of a Workspace.
- If you'd like an introductory tour of the Socialtext Workspace, start here.
- Visit Recent Changes every once in a while to see what's new, and see Help for tips to use this Workspace.
- Make links by putting words or phrases in square brackets. Click on Edit This Page to see some examples.
New wiki users often take a while to understand the unique value of looking at Recent Changes when they make a return visit to the site. I was thinking it might be a good idea to have a sentence under the Welcome line that encouraged return visitors to click on Recent Changes to find out what's new. But I couldn't figure out a way to create a link to the Recent Changes results without creating a new window. Does anyone think this is good idea and if so does anyone know how to do this? In any case, I think Recent Changes needs some kind of special "call out" so visitors can quickly start getting the benefit of this very useful feature.
